The Veterans of Foreign Wars post 1212, 1630 Garfield Ave. in Parkersburg, will have a Dinner and Comedy Show on March 13th. Dinner starts at 6pm, and the comedy show is from 7pm until 8:30pm. Cost is $15 per person. For more information, call (304) 422-6519.

There will be bingo for Relay for Life, hosted by Eddy Chiro Cruisers, on March 13th at the Williamstown High School Cafeteria. Cost is $20 for 20 games. Doors open at 5pm, games start at 6pm. All proceeded go to Relay for Life.

The Pond Creek VFD and Ladies Auxiliary will hold their annual spaghetti and calzone dinner on March 20th from 4-7pm. Cost is $7 for adults, children 5-12 $4 and under 5 free.

The Fearing VFD, 1975 Stanleyville Road in Whipple, Ohio, will hold their annual dinner on March 20th at 4pm. Cost is $7.50 for adults and children $3.50.

The American Legion post 750 in Lowell, Ohio will hold a Strip Steak or Chicken Dinner on March 20th from 5 to 8pm. Cost is $10 for steak, $7 for chicken and $5 for a no meat meal.

There will be a pancake breakfast at the Lower Salem Community Building in Lower Salem, Ohio on March 21st from 8am until 2pm. The breakfast is free, but a love offering will be accepted.

The VFW Post 1212 will hold bingo every Monday and Thursday night starting at 7pm.

Free Health Screenings are available every Tuesday and Friday 7:30-11:30 a.m. at Marietta Memorial Hospital. No appointment needed and this service is free and open to the public.

The Circle Of Hope is peer support group for adult citizens of Washington County who are recovering from mental illness. The group has meetings twice each Tuesday, from 3pm to 4:30 pm at the St Luke’s Lutheran Church and from 7pm until 8:30pm at Marietta Memorial Hospital. The Washington County Bar Association, with the assistance of the Southeastern Ohio Legal Services offers free legal clinics the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Marietta Memorial Hospital is offering Cardiac Rehabilitation exercise classes 3 times every week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This class is available to those recovering from heart disease.
