The 31st annual Elizabeth-Wirt Volunteer Fire Department’s Ice Cream Social will be on July 4th. There will be a Firecracker 5K fun run/walk at 8am, the fireman’s parade at 11am, with line up beginning at 10am, and events running all day beginning at Noon. The Little Hocking VFD will hold an Ice Cream Social on July 4th with a parade starting at 4pm.
The Jr. League will be holding a fundraiser for the JuLePs Pathways Playground on July 4th at Parkersburg’s City Park Band shell. The Moon Over Mountwood Fishing and Outdoor Festival will be on July 10th and 11th. Adults will fish all night on Friday, and kids all day on Saturday.
